Tierpark Berlin
Orientation design in the Tierpark Berlin
In Europe's largest zoo in terms of area (160 hectares) everyone is quickly disoriented. Thanks to the new orientation concept, consisting of signposts and newly illustrated site plans, this basic need of the visitors is satisfied. The first step of the concept has already been implemented: 27 naturally grown Robinia woods with 152 modern arrow brackets have been installed. Internationally readable pictograms show the way on the arrows.
