Chamber of Commerce Koblenz

The IHK building at Schloßstraße 2 in Koblenz was built between 1954 and 1956 according to plans by the architects Martin Ufe, Igor Grinzof and Friedhelm Worm. The four-storey plaster building with its light-flooded entrance hall is a listed building. After extensive renovation work, the routing of the previous guidance system no longer worked. In the new signage concept, all areas are displayed in color and with identification letters. An interesting 3D effect is created by multiple material structures, and frequently changing room occupancy can be displayed quickly and without tools by the service personnel using the acrylic pockets on the wall signs. The large number of visitors now quickly find their destination in the listed building.
